Drypoint Etching Workshop

Join printmaker Linda Zupcic to create your own drypoint etching

Be inspired by our current exhibition, The Harmon & Harriet Kelley Collection of African American Art: Works on Paper

• No experience necessary to participate in this workshop.
• Drypoint etchings will be created using an acrylic plate and our etching press. Several optional designs will be suggested or you can bring your own ideas for a 4” x 6” print.
• Material list is available online at fresnoartmuseum.org/workshop.
• It is suggested that you come visit the Museum to see The Kelley Collection before the workshop. If you’re not a Museum member, your registration for this workshop gives you free admission before the workshop, Thursday to Sunday, 10 am to 4 pm. Your name will be at the front desk.
• Workshop suitable for ages 15 to adult. Workshop limited to 15 students.
• Pre-registration is required. Class size is limited. No refunds, although you may give your seat to another student if you can’t attend. If canceled by FAM, a refund will be issued.

ABOUT THE INSTRUCTOR: Linda Zupcic has been an art instructor at FAM for over ten years. She is a graduate of Mills College in Oakland with a degree in studio art and graphic design. She is currently a member of Fig Tree Gallery and has a studio at her home. Linda is an accomplished printmaker which has been the main focus of her artwork for a number of years. She lives in the nearby foothills and is inspired by the 5,000-acre nature preserve which is her backyard. The hills, oaks, rocks, and creatures that are part of that natural environment inspire her and often find their way into her artwork.
