Charley Harper (1922–2007) has delighted art and animal lovers with his engaging paintings for more than sixty years. His distinctive use of simple shapes, geometric patterns, and vivid colors—a style he defined as minimal realism—succinctly captured the essence of each creature he portrayed. Canyon Country is one of ten posters Harper was commissioned to create for the US National Park Service.
