The Babson House in suburban Illinois was designed by Louis H. Sullivan in 1907. Though it is no longer standing, the servants quarters, stables, and a greenhouse survive. Designed in 1915 by Purcell & Elmslie, the buildings decorative detail is the inspiration for these earrings.
